What is the TSSA?

The Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) is an independent regulatory body in Ontario responsible for enforcing safety standards across various sectors, including fuel systems, pipelines, pressure vessels, and boilers. The TSSA certifies welders for work in industries such as manufacturing, oil and gas, and power generation.

The Institute of Technical Trades Toronto is a TSSA test center, offering testing and certification for welders.
